You never know until you try.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but if you scroll through my feed alllll the way back to the beginning, you’ll see that I’ve tried a lot (and I mean A LOT) of sh@&.
.
Somethings went even better than I had anticipated and some crashed and burned.
.
What I’ve found is that the things I thought would bring me lots of joy and riches turned out to be pains in my a$$ that were so not worth the energy spent, and those things I shied away from because I thought that I wasn’t very good at them are the things that bring me the MOST joy.
.
What brings me joy today is not what would have made me happy at 24, and what made me happy at 24 would probably require me to stay up past my bra-off-bedtime so that ain’t happenin’.
.
You change. The world moves around the sun. Grey hairs pop out in the weirdest spots, and your kids start reminding you of little adults. Your interests evolve, your stamina for normal routine gives out and your heart starts to take you in a new direction.
.
If we aren’t trying new things, we aren’t growing. If we aren’t growing, we aren’t living. Your body and soul need to flex and the world needs to stop stuffing everyone in a box.

My soul is yanking me towards my family and home, so that’s what I’m doing. For now, organizing and redecorating is making me happy and it’s certainly making my family happy, so win-win.

Tuesday my first blog post comes out—started writing it today. Gonna decorate, do home projects and talk about life as a teacher turned mommy entrepreneur. Hope you’ll join me. 😘🙏🏻😁❤️
